Fine cuisine in Thuringia
In the middle of the Thuringian Forest, on the Rennsteig, fine cuisine has arrived.
We pamper our guests with regional gourmet meals, ranging from traditional to light and seasonal. During summer ( May till September ) we offer a traditional thuringian BBQ every Friday evening as part of the half board arrangement.

Pilots Bar (Flieger Bar)

The meeting place with something for everybody. 12 years ago the bar was inaugurated as a classical hotel bar. Our regular guests, mostly German Air Force pilots, who left parting souvenirs such as parachutes and airplane parts, silently changed the bars´ identity. Live music from Irish folk to the Singing Barman as well as dance events and our thrice weekly Happy Hour are all conceived to make your stay enjoyable.

Archery Cellar

The World Champion in Instinctive archery, Henry Bodnik, opened this facility in 2002. With its 190m² the archery area offers enough space for two teams to compete against each other. Whether with friends, relatives or business colleagues take the challenge and test your skill.

Individuals pay € 10,00 per hour including bow and arrows and a short introduction.

Trainers can be arranged and costs are according to time and group size.
